Sweet Poppin’s sent me three kinds of popcorn — an 8 oz. re-sealable bag of Strawberry Cheesecake, and two smaller samples — Lemon Pound Cake and Pralines & Cream.
When I began my tasting, I started with the two smaller sampler bags. Each bag contained about two handfuls of popcorn — just enough to tease me for wanting more. And, after eating the contents of each sampler bag, I indeed wanted more. The Lemon Pound Cake flavor was a creamy lemony delight. The flavor reminded me of the lemon and poppy seed muffins I get at the local farmer’s market. The Pralines & Cream flavor was awesome. It tasted just like the Pralines & Cream ice cream from Baskin Robbins. I really wanted a bigger bag of this flavor. It was so good!
The Strawberry Cheesecake was my least favorite, but it really didn’t matter because it had great flavor. It also had a creamy kind of texture. I just didn’t like this flavor as much as the other two. But that’s just my opinion. I also liked the re-sealable bag the Strawberry Cheesecake popcorn came in, especially the little window on the front that made it easy to see what the popcorn looks like.
Sweet Poppin’s has some awesome gourmet popcorn flavors. If you’re near Kokomo, IN then stop in and see what Tashia’s poppin’.
