Thatcher’s Gourmet Popcorn

Thatcher's Gourmet PopcornThatcher’s Gourmet Popcorn sent me a full box of samples that included the following: Caramel Corn, Cheddar Cheese, Tiramisu Cappuccino, Raspberry Caramel, White Chocolate Drizzled Raspberry Caramel, Chocolate Drizzled Popcorn, Chocolate Drizzled Kettle Corn, Cinnamon Toast, and Honey Vanilla & Nuts.

I started out by tasting the Caramel Corn popcorn. I was not really impressed by the caramel flavor but the freshness and crunch of the popcorn was very good. After tasting all of the other flavors the Caramel Corn actually turned out to be my least favorite flavor.

The second flavor I opened was Tiramisu Cappuccino and after the first taste I found the flavor to be very addicting and I had a hard time putting it down. I probably ate about two servings before using the convenient twist-tie to seal the bag up for later. This turned out to be one of my favorite flavors. I opened up the Honey Vanilla & Nuts next and I was just blown away by the flavor. It was awesome. It was so good that I forgot that it had nuts after I started eating it. There were a few almonds and walnuts (mostly almonds), but this flavor was great without them. The Cheddar Cheese flavor was next and I was surprised at how lightly flavored it was. I liked that it only had a mild cheddar cheese flavor and wasn’t overly cheesy. The Raspberry flavors are made with real freeze dried raspberries which added a lot more flavor than using artificial flavoring. The Cinnamon Toast was another great flavor — especially for breakfast — I just added a little milk. Yum. I didn’t care too much for the flavor of the dark chocolate that was used in the chocolate drizzled flavors, although I preferred the Kettle Corn Chocolate Drizzled the most.

Thatchers has a nice variety of gourmet popcorn flavors. Be sure to try one of my favorites — Tiramisu Cappuccino, Cinnamon Toast, or Honey Vanilla & Nuts.
